How to play the daily word game
Each day you're given seven letters. Your goal is to spell as many words as you can that are at least four letters long, using each letter no more than once. Type a word and press Enter, or tap the letter tiles to build it. Every valid word adds to your score, and the puzzle keeps track of how many of the day's words you've found. Because the letters are chosen from the calendar date, everyone plays the same seven letters — so you can compare scores with friends. A brand-new set appears at midnight, your local time.
Scoring and ranks
Each word is worth one point per letter, and spelling a word that uses all seven letters earns a seven-point bonus. Your rank rises from Beginner through Good, Nice, Great, Amazing and Genius as your score climbs toward the maximum possible for the day. Your progress is stored in your browser, so you can close the tab and pick up where you left off later the same day. Stuck? The Show answers button reveals everything you haven't found yet.
